We have been living in our newly renovated home for about six months, so I can confidently provide a review of our contractor and the work done at our residence. Working with Hollywood Refinishing on our remodel was a journey that culminated in a beautiful, warm, and inviting space. We have a 25-year-old house that needed an update, and we decided to remodel an entire floor. This included a new kitchen, dining area, bar, family living room, patio, and powder room. When selecting a contractor to take on our project, we were impressed by Tarwat's patience (it took us several months to decide), his upbeat attitude, and his candidness as to what to expect regarding timelines and end results. In fact, he allowed us to tour one of his projects to assess the quality of work (this was so key to deciding to move forward). He was also readily available for any questions via phone or text. His workers (the same crew) came daily and were polite, respectful, and excellent at their craft. Throughout the project, we got to know and trust them, and I appreciated not having new/different people show up at the job site. His subcontractors were well-vetted and also produced stellar work. The key attributes that I appreciated about Tarwat and his crew were the level of communication and collaboration between us, as they recognized that a renovation is so personal to the homeowner and that decisions made will affect the end result in terms of timing, functionality, and cost. They were mindful of that and tried to partner with us to realize our vision. Suffice it to say that I would work with Tarwat again, and, in fact, I am planning another project with Hollywood Refinishing soon.

Phenomenal job by Tarwat and his team on our kitchen cabinet project recently- they refinished our cabinets, added soft close hinges and glides, converted a cabinet into 2 deep drawers, and added pullout drawers to our pantry. I couldn't be happier with the results! It has really elevated the look and functionality of our kitchen, and I absolutely love looking at and feeling the smooth finish on our cabinets. Price was great too, significantly cheaper than a few other quotes including Home Depot. Would recommend without hesitation!

We remodeled our Kitchen in 2005 and things were looking a little dated by 2023 with the picked white oak arch cabinet doors and drawers. I called the "local" guys that advertise all over the radio for a bid and they came out the next day. The salesman was at our house for over three hours and we had to sit through a sales presentation on his Ipad...then he hit us with the bid. It started with a 7 and was almost an 8!! Once we got him to leave, we started looking locally (on Yelp!) and found Tarwat. He came out and gave us a bid that was 1/3rd the cost of the "other" guys...I got a good feeling from him, so I signed the bid, put the deposit down and got the process started. The neat thing about Hollywood Refinishing and Tarwat is that he gets the drawers and doors made then he comes out and actually fits them in place before they are finished - this way we know for sure everything is going to fit correctly! Amazing!! The result is simply stunning, better than I thought it could be. His guys show up on time and when he says, no extra costs. Dont hesitate, it is kind of a PITA because you have to empty the cabinets and the painting is kind of smelly (his guys use fans to keep the smell down and covered the kitchen in plastic so there was no overspray), but we ended up trashing a bunch of stuff we did not use or forgot we had, so we have even more room! We did all new doors and drawer fronts painted in custom colors, matching crown moulding, new soft close drawer glides and hinges along with new roll outs for the pantry and spice cabinets. A++++. Plus - Tarwat is always happy, and returns your calls/texts. Get him now before you cant!!

We bought a house recently. The kitchen cabinet is made of old-style solid oak wood. They are in good condition; they just look outdated. I wanted to reface the cabinet in the beginning, but the cost of the refacing costs more than 20k. To keep our good-quality cabinet doors. I decided to refinish the cabinets. It was hard to find a refinishing company. I am glad to find Hollywood Refinishing on Yelp. This is the only refinishing service that I find with good reviewing. And the work of Hollywood Refinishing is worth five stars. The owner Tarwat is very friendly, honest, and professional. Their crews are all experienced. They painted all cabinets, fixed the drawers and doors, and installed soft-closure hinges. The texture of the new painting is so smooth. My kitchen turns out to be a brand new modern kitchen. Their price is fair. We are fully satisfied with the job.

It has been over a year since Tarwat and crew came to put our refinished cabinet doors on. One of them had come loose so I messaged Tarwat and he very graciously sent his crew to fix the door. They not only did the one door that we had an issue with, but tightened and secured some of the others that could have issues down the road. Now they are as good as new, and I needed to write this review to express how very pleased I am that hollywood refinishing is standing by their work. These days that doesn't always happen with services. Thank you Tarwat and crew!

We had our kitchen refinished in June. Tarwat came out and gave us a very competitive price after checking the reviews we went with him, at the time he was handling several jobs at the same time so the whole job took a little longer than expected but my wife the house chef and I could not be happier with the finished product. The crew took care of everything in a very professional way and anything we asked about was taken care of. Look no further if you are thinking of refinishing your kitchen. I reached out to Tarwat with the tall order of converting what was essentially a modest windowless cinder block storage room into a workable home office. Right off the bat, he was able to accommodate a range of very specific requests related to getting the space into the shape I needed. From demo, framing, and electrical, to paint, hardware installation, and adding a custom window (in a spot never intended for one, but that now looks specifically designed for one), everything was done with a really, really high level of quality and attention to detail. We also had a custom cabinet added to our kitchen, which also came out great. Tarwat and his team followed through with every aspect of the job and exceeded my expectations at each step in the process. It'd be easy to go on with the praise, but bottom line is that the end result we arrived at is easily two letter grades above what my hopes for the space were. Could not be happier. My only regret was that I didn't reach out way back in 2020 so I could've enjoyed my new home office during lockdown. I'm eager to tackle more projects in the future with Hollywood Refinishing.
